Für Carag, Brandon, Holly und Lou beginnt ein neues Schuljahr an der Clearwater High.

Und das hat es in sich, denn das Naturschutzgebiet rund um die Schule ist in Gefahr. Carags früherer Mentor Andrew Milling plant, den Wald rund um das Internat zu verkaufen – das Revier der Gestaltwandler!

Puma-Wandler Carag und seine Freunde versuchen dies mit allen Mitteln zu verhindern, doch Milling hat einen Spion an der Schule und ist ihnen immer einen Schritt voraus. Ausgerechnet die Schneewölfin Tikaani kommt ihnen schließlich zur Hilfe.

Doch kann Carag ihr wirklich trauen – und ist da vielleicht sogar mehr als Freundschaft zwischen den beiden?
